This painting was originally one of a series of several murals that,were created for the pediatric wing of Mid Island Dental in Hicksville, N.Y.
They commissioned the artist to create soothing and relaxing environments for patients, while at the same time expressing Long Island pride that appealed to both children and adults. The project, which consisted of 15 murals, covering over 1,100 square feet of wall space, began in the Fall of 2011 and took approximately two years to complete. This original painting of Harbes Family farm is over 40 feet long and 8ft high and covers one side of a big hallway to exam rooms. Harbes Farm is located in Mattituck, N.Y which is in the heart of the wine country in the North Fork of Long Island. At harvest time in early fall, families flock out there on weekends for pumpkin picking, wine tasting and listening to outdoor bands while picnicing,
